Geek Girl Of The Week: Kristen Wiig

Type of Geek: The Careful-Or-Your-Face-Will-Freeze-Like-That Funny Girl Geek

Aside from the occasional SNL Digital Short (“Man, this ain’t my dad! This is a cell phone!”), Kristen Wiig just might be the best thing about Saturday Night Live these days. When it comes to her sense of humor, quiet is the new loud and Kristen is the queen of non-verbal communication.

You don’t have to do fart-wheels while singing “I’m Too Sexy” at the top of your lungs in order to make an impression; hilarity is just as powerful when it’s delivered through a subtle gesture or an intense stare. Though it’s not her best look (mostly because her chin instantly disappears and she morphs into the female version of Beeker from The Muppets), Kristen’s trademark frown pout is an automatic giggle-inducer, not to mention scene-stealer.
