Hey there, I’m Leslie. Thanks so much for visiting my site! Wanna know more about me? Why don’t you take a seat. This could take a minute.
-
- I’m a recovering Diet Coke addict
- Once of my favorite novels in the last couple years is Eleanor Olyphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
- If I could only listen to one band for the rest of my life, it’d be The Wombats
- I get excited every time I get to clean out the lint trap in the dryer
- I wish there were even MORE documentaries about Fyre Festival
- I laugh (a lot) at my own jokes
- It only took me three weeks to watch all 15 seasons—that’s 320 episodes—of Law And Order: SVU in chronological order
- The smell of mustard makes me gag
- I’m still mourning the cancelation of Downward Dog
- I’ve had three books published by HarperCollins: Geek Girls Unite: How Fangirls, Bookworms, Indie Chicks and Other Misfits Are Taking Over the World, Everybody Hurts: An Essential Guide to Emo Culture and Wish You Were Here: An Essential Guide To Your Favorite Music Scenes

Soundtrack’s of My Life: Getaway Songs – Phish. Loved the article. It brought me back to my first three-day Phish concert at the old Plattsburgh Air Force Base in Plattsburgh, NY August 1996. I cannot translate “washa uffize drive me to firenze” or much of Phish’s lyrics for that matter, I mean, Reba “bag it, tag it, sell it to the butcher in the store” …hmmm. Well, I saw many colorful lights those three days–besides the light shows. Memories, good memories, with pleasant thoughts and comfortable feelings. Ah, nostalgia lane. Well, many years later and I am very much into Jazz and deep into literary art, but I still love to kick back, stare into the sun, and let my mind escape, just go “bouncing round the room.”
Take Care Leslie Simon,
Jake Sullivan
