If you don’t think engineering is a feminine profession, think again! Nerd Girls are a group of badass gals that just so happen to be science, technology, engineering and math students. Started by Dr. Karen Panetta, a professor of electrical and computer engineering at Tufts University, as a way to empower female engineering students, Nerd Girls are all about embracing the left side of the brain and using their scientific knowledge to help solve various environmental and technological problems.
